Key Responsibilities:
Depending on experience level, you may operate or set up the following:
- Sander Operator: Smooth and finish edges of materials
- Band Saw Operator: Set up saws and cut materials to specification
- Router Operator: Program and route materials accurately
- Drill Press Operator: Bore and shape materials per blueprint
- CNC Operator: Run programs, adjust settings, and maintain accuracy
- Print Shop Operator: Set up and load printing equipment for designs
- Saws / Forklift Operator: Cut, stack, and transport materials safely
Skills and Experience
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), pushing, and pulling
- Ability to work in a woodworking environment (dust, noise, changing temps)
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or warehouse operations
- Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math
- Familiarity with hand tools and power equipment (saws, routers, nailers)
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to work overtime when needed
