Overview
We’re looking for dependable and detail-oriented Picker/Packers to join our growing distribution team. This position plays a key role in ensuring customer orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products based on order details using RF scanners or pick tickets
- Verify item numbers, descriptions, and quantities to ensure order accuracy
- Place picked items into totes, bins, or boxes for staging or packing
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the picking area
- Communicate any inventory discrepancies to supervisors
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Meet or exceed daily productivity and accuracy goals
- Assist in other warehouse duties such as packing, restocking, and cycle counting
Skills and Experience
Work Environment:
- Fast-paced warehouse/distribution setting
- Standing, walking, and lifting throughout the shift
- Exposure to varying temperatures
- Use of RF scanners, pallet jacks, ladders, and carts
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or picking experience preferred but not required
- Ability to lift up to [insert weight, e.g., 50 lbs]
