Overview
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by ensuring equipment reliability, facility upkeep, and compliance with industrial safety standards. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical and electrical systems, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond immediately to production line stoppages and restore operations.
- Perform preventive maintenance checks on all production equipment.
- Set up, monitor, and adjust equipment as needed to maintain efficiency.
- Conduct daily inspections inside and outside the facility, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions.
- Carry out facility and equipment modifications as required.
- Support and participate in scheduled maintenance programs.
- Ensure compliance with all industrial safety and security standards during equipment and facility maintenance.
- Assist with other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications & Education:
- Education: Technical training as a mechanic, electrician, or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar maintenance role.
- Additional Knowledge: Ability to read mechanical/architectural plans, basic welding, and proficiency in using tools and measurement devices.
- Language: Spanish required; basic technical English preferred.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of operating systems and Microsoft Office.
Compensation & Growth:
- Starting rate: $18/hour.
- Increase to $20/hour after 3 months based on performance.
