Overview
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to perform repairs and preventative maintenance on a variety of stationary and mobile equipment, including hydraulic systems, balers, compactors, conveyors, light trucks, and more. This role ensures equipment operates safely and efficiently to support daily production needs.
Salary: $20 - $25 DOE
Shift: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM (48 – 50 hours weekly)
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues using diagnostic tools, manuals, and technical expertise.
- Perform maintenance and repairs on hydraulic, brake, transmission, and electrical systems.
- Service and overhaul motors, gearboxes, blowers, pumps, and conveyor belts.
- Read and interpret vehicle condition reports (VCRs) and work orders.
- Document repairs, parts usage, and time entries accurately.
- Maintain daily logs on fuel, oil, and operating hours for fleet management.
- May assist with basic facility maintenance such as plumbing, electrical, and HVAC repairs.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Experience in industrial maintenance or mechanical repair
- Ability to read technical manuals and diagnostic charts
- Skilled with hand and power tools
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working with compact heavy equipment and light trucks
- Basic computer and documentation skills
