Overview
We are seeking a General Maintenance Technician to assist with routine preventative maintenance. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with basic mechanical skills who wants to grow into a diesel mechanic role. Pay rate DOE
- Perform routine preventative maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements
- Assist mechanics with larger repairs and inspections
- Keep maintenance areas clean and organized
- Conduct basic inspections for wear, safety, and performance issues
- Document completed work and report issues to senior mechanics
Skills and Experience
- 6+ months of mechanical, automotive, or equipment maintenance experience (preferred but not required)
- Ability to use basic hand and power tools
- Willingness to learn diesel systems and bus maintenance
- Able to lift 50 lbs, stand, bend, and work in shop conditions
- Reliable attendance and team-oriented work ethic
