Overview
We are seeking an experienced Diesel Mechanic to perform diagnostics, repairs, and maintenance. This role requires strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brake systems, and heavy-duty vehicle components.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair diesel engines, transmissions, and drivetrains
- Inspect and repair air brake, suspension, and hydraulic systems
- Perform DOT inspections and ensure vehicles meet safety standards
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems (12V/24V) and HVAC units
- Complete preventative maintenance including oil changes, tires, and alignments
- Maintain accurate repair and inspection records
Skills and Experience
- 1+ years diesel mechanic experience (bus, truck, or heavy equipment preferred)
- Knowledge of DOT safety standards
- Experience with diagnostics tools and repair procedures
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in a shop environment
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Resume with relevant experience is required
- 3-part interview process required.
