Overview
We are looking for a highly organized, safety-focused, and efficient Material Handler/Line Support to join our fast-paced assembly plant in Greenville, SC. As a Material Handler/Line Support, you will be the lifeblood of our production floor, ensuring assembly lines never stop due to material shortages. Key Responsibilities:
- Organize parts in the most efficient way for production.
- Pull any additional material to fulfill production needs.
- Load and unload packages from pallets.
- Handle and build pallets using totes of finished products.
- Band finished products from the production line for secure handling and shipment.
- Operate handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, etc.
- Break down cardboard boxes and build shipping totes.
- Take instructions from supervisors.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Full comprehension of all production lines and main service lines.
- Skilled at all positions on each line.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience
- Adequate reading, organizational, oral, and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Time management
- Ability to lift 10-40 lbs.
- Ability to work occasional weekends, holidays, and evenings
- Team-oriented and fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge of safety procedures in a manufacturing environment.
- Manufacturing experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
