Overview
We are looking for a skilled and dependable Machine Maintenance Technician to join our team at a pellet manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring the safe, efficient, and continuous operation of production equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on mechanical experience, and a commitment to workplace safety.
Skills and Experience
Qualifications:
- Previous maintenance experience in an industrial, manufacturing, or pellet mill setting preferred.
- Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Basic computer skills for logging work orders and maintenance records.
- Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights and weekends, if needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, walk, climb, and bend for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. regularly.
- Comfortable working in a hot, dusty, and noisy environment.
