Overview
Ōnin Staffing is looking for an experienced Millwright to join a trusted machine shop in Fairfield, AL. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, problem-solving skills, and the ability to maintain, repair, and install industrial machinery with precision.
Position Details:
- 📅 Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- 💵 Starting Pay: $22/hr (higher pay based on experience)
- 🛠️ Minimum Experience: 5+ years as a Millwright
Responsibilities:
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment and machinery
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics
- Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure equipment reliability
- Diagnose mechanical issues and provide effective solutions
- Operate tools and machinery safely while adhering to company safety standards
Skills and Experience
Work Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Millwright (industrial setting preferred)
- Strong mechanical and technical skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical documents
- Knowledge of industrial safety practices and procedures
- Dependable, detail-oriented, and a team player
