Overview
We are seeking dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeping Associates to join our team at a premier hotel and casino in Lafayette. The ideal candidate will help maintain a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment for our guests by performing thorough cleaning and organization of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, changing linens, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing amenities.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas, hallways, restrooms, and other hotel spaces.
- Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, or lost and found items to management promptly.
- Ensure compliance with hotel standards and safety regulations at all times.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, folding, and distributing linens and towels.
- Collaborate with team members and management to provide excellent guest experiences.
Qualifications:
- Previous Hotel housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred but not required; training provided.
- Ability to follow instructions and pay attention to detail.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
