Job Title: Manual Machinist
Location: Albuquerque, New Mexico
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire through Onin Staffing
Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Manual Machinist to join our fabrication and repair team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience operating manual machines and working in a high-energy environment. This role is perfect for someone who thrives on precision, problem-solving, and working with heavy-duty materials.
Skills and Experience
Requirements
• Experience in manual machining preferred
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
• Must be reliable and punctual
• Steel-toe boots required
Responsibilities
• Operate manual lathes, mills, grinders, and other machining equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders
• Fabricate and repair metal components for heavy equipment and industrial applications
• Perform metalizing and finishing processes as needed
• Maintain equipment and tools in safe working condition
• Collaborate with welders and fabricators to complete custom builds and repairs
• Adhere to safety protocols and wear required PPE, including steel-toe boots
