What You'll Do as a Stamping Machine Operator:
- Operate high-speed stamping press assembly reels (plastic and cardboard) and make minor adjustments to auxiliary equipment, including strip welders and vision systems.
- Perform quality checks per the QIP, including visual inspections with a microscope.
- Take specified measurements per print at required intervals using comparator ram, optic toolmakers, scope gauges, and other tools.
- Order raw metal and change stock as needed.
- Retrieve completed components and load empty reels from the staging area.
- Make minor press adjustments as required, including machinery lubrication, air pressure, and ram height
Skills and Experience
We’re seeking candidates who bring a mix of skills, experience, and a can-do attitude! To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- HS Diploma or GED (required)
- Manufacturing or hands-on experience
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical Aptitude
- Ability to read blueprints
