Overview
A. Prepare materials (cutting wire, stripping wire, tinning, attaching terminals, etc.) for use in products.
B. Operate hand tools, including drills and rivet tools.
C. Solder wires and components as directed.
D. Assemble printed circuit boards and other EM products as directed.
E. Fabricate wiring harnesses.
F. Troubleshoot and repair products.
G. Use various electronic test equipment.
H. Assemble and test, as directed, electronic controls, accessories and EM products.
I. Assist with cleaning, packaging and transferring of finished products as directed.
J. Maintain and process documentation relevant to job assignment.
Skills and Experience
I. High school graduate or GED.
II. Ability to receive, understand and execute verbal and written instructions.
III. Ability to measure accurately using micrometer, vernier calipers, etc.
lV. Ability to accurately use simple electrical and electronic testing equipment.
V. Basic math skills.
Vl. Ability to perceive and distinguish colors accurately.
Vll. Ability to perform functions of the job outlined above without creating a threat to the safety of oneself or others.
