Overview
A facility maintenance worker is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment throughout the warehouse, office, and common areas.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, offices, and other common areas.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and maintain floors throughout the facility.
- Empty trash and recycling containers and dispose of waste properly.
- Clean warehouse areas, docks, and workspaces as needed.
- Restock cleaning supplies, paper products, and restroom supplies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Keep walkways and work areas clean and free of hazards.
- Assist with general facility upkeep and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe workplace.
- Experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
