What You’ll Do as a Seasonal Warehouse Workers / Manual Pallet Jack Operator:
- Safely operate a manual pallet jack to move pallets, merchandise, and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load, unload, receive, sort, and distribute incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Read customer orders, work orders, and shipping instructions to accurately pick and prepare merchandise.
- Organize inventory on racks, shelves, or bins according to product type, size, or item codes.
- Pick, pack, stack, wrap, and stage products and pallets for shipping or replenishment.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory, verify product movement, and complete accurate data entry.
- Inspect merchandise for accuracy, damage, or missing items.
- Safely lift, carry, and move packages while following proper material-handling techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while meeting daily productivity goals.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Minimum 1–3 months of previous warehouse, stockroom, material handling, or related experience preferred.
- Previous manual pallet jack experience is a plus.
- Ability to use RF scanners for inventory tracking, product movement, and basic data entry.
- Ability to work with U.S. currency, weights, measurements, volume, and distance.
- Ability to understand and carry out simple one- or two-step instructions and complete routine tasks with minimal supervision.
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 50 lbs and perform tasks requiring standing, walking, sitting, reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and repetitive hand movements.
- Comfortable working in a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment.
- Strong attention to detail, commitment to safety, and flexibility to work overtime as needed.
