Overview
This is an opportunity for TIG welders to earn $19–$25 hourly on second shift; with Saturday's as overtime. Plus, radically affordable health insurance after 30 days.
- $19.00 to $25.00 hourly
- 2nd Shift 5:30pm-5am
- Later-day schedule leaves mornings available for personal commitments.
- Work with aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized, hot-roll, and cold-roll materials.
- Take on leadership responsibilities by helping coordinate coworkers and welding workloads.
- Support a variety of departments and projects across the company.

What you'll do as: TIG Welder in Mundelein IL
- Read blueprints and job travelers to understand welding requirements.
- Set up welding jobs and select the appropriate wire and equipment settings.
- TIG weld aluminum, stainless steel, galvanized, hot-roll, and cold-roll materials.
- Prioritize multiple jobs and coordinate work to meet deadlines.
- Maintain welding equipment and follow safety and ISO procedures.
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Might:
- At least three years of professional welding experience.
- TIG welding experience with aluminum and multiple types of steel.
- Experience reading blueprints and setting up welding jobs.
- Familiarity with Miller or Lincoln welding equipment.
- Experience leading coworkers and managing competing workloads.
