Overview
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Rebar Material Handler to assist with handling, organizing, and moving steel reinforcement bars (rebar) in a fast-paced industrial environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to safety, and the ability to work as part of a team.
Shift is as follows
Mon-Fri
6am-3pm
Skills and Experience
- Load, unload, move, and organize rebar and steel materials.
- Assist with stacking, sorting, and preparing rebar for production or shipment.
- Safely lift and transport heavy materials using proper lifting techniques.
- Assist machine operators and production personnel as needed.
- Inspect materials for damage or defects.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Follow all workplace safety procedures and supervisor instructions.
- Work indoors or outdoors in varying temperatures.
Job Requirements
- Previous warehouse, construction, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and assist with heavier materials using team lifts or equipment.
- Comfortable working in hot environments.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive physical tasks for 8–12 hours.
- Comfortable wearing required PPE, including steel-toe boots, gloves, and safety glasses.
- Ability to follow instructions and work well with others.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Experience handling steel or rebar is a plus but not required.
