What You'll Do as a Packer Press Operator:
- Operate packing and press equipment according to production instructions and safety procedures.
- Feed materials into equipment and monitor the production process to keep operations moving efficiently.
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and packaging requirements.
- Identify damaged, defective, or improperly packed products and notify a supervisor when issues arise.
- Package, stack, and prepare completed products for storage or shipment as needed.
- Monitor equipment for irregular operation and report mechanical or production concerns.
- Maintain an organized work area and keep materials properly stocked.
- Follow established safety guidelines, including the proper use of required personal protective equipment.
- Work with team members to meet daily production goals and maintain product quality.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous manufacturing, packaging, or machine operating experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to follow work instructions and established safety procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Good hand-eye coordination and the ability to perform repetitive production tasks.
- Dependability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
- Willingness to learn equipment operation and production processes.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, bend, reach, and lift materials as required.
