We are seeking an experienced Forklift Mechanic to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on forklifts and heavy equipment. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and hydraulic skills, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently.

Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on forklifts and heavy equipment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and hydraulic issues.
- Repair and fabricate hydraulic hoses.
- Perform diesel engine maintenance and repairs.
- Inspect equipment to ensure safe and reliable operation.
- Follow safety procedures and maintenance guidelines.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 5 years of experience in forklift or heavy equipment maintenance, including mechanic helper or apprentice experience.
- Knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and diesel engines.
- Ability to troubleshoot equipment and resolve mechanical issues.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. frequently and over 100 lbs. occasionally.
