Overview
Responsible for converting routine fabrication requests through the design, plan and build stages. When required, builds consistent with blueprint design and specifications. Conducts routine maintenance and equipment installations in collaboration with production, maintenance and purchasing personnel.
Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of safe work practices
- Critical thinking
- Workflow planning and scheduling
- Ability to fabricate from blueprint design
- Mechanical ability and general knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electricity
- Welding and operation of metal machining equipment
- Operation of manual and power hand tools
- Ability to operate a forklift and JLG
