Overview
We are currently seeking qualified welders for our facility located in the Eclectic area. Candidates with various levels of experience, including those new to the field, are encouraged to apply.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Welding Metal Components: Perform welding using techniques such as MIG, TIG, or Stick.
- Material Preparation: Measure, cut, clean, and tack-weld metal parts to prepare them for final welding.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, basic weld symbols, and work orders to ensure accurate assembly.
- Quality Inspection: Examine completed welds for defects, cracks, or warping.
- Safety Compliance: Wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), maintain a clean work environment, and follow OSHA safety standards.
Skills and Experience
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials weighing approximately 40 to 50 pounds.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience with common welding methods such as MIG, TIG, and arc welding.
