Are you mechanically minded, enjoy working with your hands, and know your way around trucks? We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Mechanic to help keep semi-trucks, heavy-duty vehicles, and fleet equipment running safely and efficiently.
This is a great opportunity for someone with general mechanical experience who enjoys troubleshooting problems, making repairs, and working as part of a team.
Skills and Experience
What You'll Do
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform repairs on heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance and inspections to keep vehicles operating safely.
- Troubleshoot mechanical problems and identify needed repairs.
- Assist with repairs to engines, brakes, suspension, drivetrains, and other vehicle systems as qualified.
- Work with replacement parts, tools, and shop equipment.
- Help maintain an organized, clean, and safe work environment.
- Communicate repair needs and progress with the team.
- Follow safety procedures and complete work with attention to detail.
What We're Looking For
- Previous mechanic or hands-on mechanical experience.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment safely.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
- Ability to lift, bend, stand, and perform physical job duties as required.
- Diesel engine, semi-truck, heavy equipment, or trailer repair experience is a plus.
- Transmission experience is helpful but not required.
