Depending on your experience and the position, your responsibilities may include:
- Lumber & Mill Operations: Process lumber, support mill production, move materials, and assist with lumber-handling equipment.
- Woodworking & Saw Operations: Measure, cut, trim, and shape wood or panel products using saws, woodworking tools, and production machinery.
- Machine Setup & Operation: Set up and operate woodworking equipment, including edge banders and beam saws, while following production specifications.
- Panel Assembly & Glue-Up: Work with wood panels, adhesives, and assembly processes to produce quality wood components.
- Finishing & Quality Control: Stain, spray, clean, trim, or buff products while checking for surface imperfections and meeting quality standards.
- Other duties may vary by position.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Manufacturing, woodworking, lumber, assembly, or machine-operation experience is preferred for applicable positions.
- Ability to follow instructions, measurements, and production specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and workplace safety.
- Ability to perform hands-on work, including moderate lifting and material handling.
- Comfortable working in a production environment and maintaining a consistent pace.
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools or power tools are a plus.
- Forklift experience is preferred for positions involving lumber and material movement.
- Specialized experience with saws, edge banders, wood finishing, or spray equipment is a plus for applicable roles.
- Reliable attendance and a willingness to learn.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills are a plus—Nosotros hablamos Español!
