What You’ll Do as a Scale Clerk:
- Weigh trucks in and out and coordinate incoming/outgoing loads
- Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory logs
- Track daily receipts and document load quality with photos
- Communicate with operators to ensure load quality standards
- Process returns, reconcile records, and support basic accounting tasks
- Write and reconcile checks and assist with vendor-related tracking
- Notify teams of arrivals and departures to keep operations flowing
- Support daily, weekly, and monthly reporting and reconciliation
- Participate in safety meetings and maintain compliance standards
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience in administrative, warehouse, logistics, or scale operations
- Familiarity with Excel, SAP, or basic accounting principles is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage time-sensitive tasks
- Ability to multitask and communicate effectively across teams
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing or outdoor environment
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed
- Commitment to safety and wearing required PPE
