Skills and Experience
What You'll Be Doing
- Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks to move and organize freight.
- Load and unload trucks using forklifts and manual handling.
- Sort, palletize, and stage shipments for efficient distribution.
- Scan incoming and outgoing freight to maintain accurate inventory records.
- Review packing slips, Bills of Lading, and shipping documents.
- Record driver information and trailer seal numbers.
- Perform daily forklift safety inspections.
- Support shipping, receiving, inventory, and general warehouse operations.
What We're Looking For
- Forklift operating experience preferred.
- Ability to complete required forklift training and certification.
- Strong attention to safety, accuracy, and detail.
- Dependable attendance and a positive work ethic.
- Ability to read shipping documents and follow written and verbal instructions in English.
- Basic math and counting skills.
- High school diploma, equivalent training, or at least six months of related experience preferred.
- Willingness to jump in and help wherever needed.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable standing, walking, and staying active throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures, dust, and moderate noise.
