Overview

                                                                                  Pay will be determined on experience

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of an apartment community.
  •  Manage leasing activities, including showing apartments, processing applications, and completing move-ins and move-outs. 
  •  Communicate professionally with current and prospective residents. 
  •  Collect rent payments and follow up on delinquent accounts. 
  •  Address resident concerns, questions, and service requests in a timely manner. 
  •  Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders with maintenance staff and outside vendors. 
  •  Conduct property inspections and ensure apartments and common areas are clean, safe, and well maintained. 
  •  Manage lease renewals, notices, and other resident documentation. 
  •  Maintain accurate resident records, files, and property documentation. 
  •  Assist with marketing and advertising available units to maintain occupancy. 
  •  Monitor property expenses and assist with budgeting and financial reporting. 
  •  Enforce community policies, lease agreements, and property rules consistently. 
  •  Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, landscaping, pest control, and other property services. 
  •  Assist with employee scheduling, training, and supervision when applicable. 
  •  Ensure compliance with company policies, fair housing regulations, and applicable housing laws. 
  •  Handle emergencies and after-hours property issues as required. 
  •  Maintain a professional, welcoming, and organized office and community environment.

Skills and Experience

  • Previous property management, apartment management, leasing, or real estate experience required.
  •  Strong customer service and communication skills. 
  •  Excellent organization and time-management abilities. 
  •  Ability to multitask and prioritize competing responsibilities. 
  •  Experience with rent collection and resident relations. 
  •  Basic computer skills and ability to learn property management software. 
  •  Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills. 
  •  Professional appearance and demeanor. 
  •  Ability to work independently while also managing a team. 
  •  Knowledge of Fair Housing regulations is a plus.
