What You’ll Do as a Forklift Operator - Reach Truck / Roll Clamp:
- Safely operate a Reach Truck or Roll Clamp forklift to move, lift, stage, and store materials.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing freight accurately.
- Transport materials to designated storage locations and staging areas.
- Use RF scanners to track inventory and verify material movements.
- Prepare and stage orders for shipment.
- Complete pre-shift equipment inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment while following warehouse procedures.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 1+ year of experience in a fast-paced warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment.
- Previous experience operating a Reach Truck or Roll Clamp forklift is required.
- Forklift operator certification is a plus.
- Experience using handheld RF scanners or Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is preferred.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs unassisted.
- Ability to stand, sit, bend, and walk for extended periods in a non-climate-controlled environment.
- Strong attention to detail, basic math and reading comprehension skills, and a commitment to workplace safety.
- Reliable attendance, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to pass a forlkift assessment while operating equipment.
