Overview

We are seeking a skilled Fabricator with experience in working with both metal and wood. The ideal candidate will be able to interpret and work from technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics to produce high-quality components and assemblies that meet precise specifications. This role requires strong attention to detail, hands-on craftsmanship, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Key Responsibilities:

Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and work orders to determine fabrication requirements.
Measure, cut, shape, and assemble metal and wood components according to specifications.
Operate a variety of hand tools, power tools, and fabrication machinery such as saws, welders, grinders, drills, and presses.
Ensure all work meets established quality and safety standards.
Perform welding, grinding, sanding, and finishing on fabricated parts as needed.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work area in clean and safe condition.
Collaborate with team members to solve fabrication challenges and meet production deadlines.
Conduct quality checks to ensure final products meet design and functional requirements.

Skills and Experience

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a metal and wood fabricator or in a similar trade role.
Ability to read and accurately interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Proficiency in using fabrication tools, welding equipment, and woodworking machinery.
Strong understanding of fabrication techniques, materials, and safety practices.
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to lift, carry, and handle materials safely.
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in fabrication is a plus.
