What You’ll Do as a Material Handler / Computer Dismantler:
- Disassemble computers, servers, and other electronic equipment using hand tools.
- Remove and separate metal components, parts, and materials for recycling or recovery.
- Sort and identify metals and electronic components according to established procedures.
- Assist with harvesting reusable parts from retired IT equipment.
- Move, organize, and stage electronic equipment and recovered materials throughout the facility.
- Follow procedures for responsible handling and disposition of retired technology.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all workplace safety requirements.
Skills and Experience
What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- Previous experience in warehouse, recycling, material handling, electronics, or dismantling work is helpful but not required.
- Comfortable using hand tools and taking apart equipment.
- Strong attention to detail when sorting, identifying, and separating materials.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform hands-on physical work.
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work well with a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and follow established work procedures.
- Composite boots required (ask about our discount options)
