Overview
The Sales Associate primarily works in the retail area of the store, supporting the retail
functions by providing excellent customer service, stocking goods, and maintaining
cleanliness. This location is a donation center only, but is expanding into a thrift store.
Workweek: 5 days per week, Monday through Saturday. Saturdays are required and
employees receive one weekday off to accommodate working on Saturdays. The day
they are off changes, but usually they work with the employee and see what works best
and schedules are typically provided in advance.
Sundays: Rotating Sunday shifts are required, and candidates must be comfortable with
this requirement. They are given another day off during the week if they are scheduled
for a Sunday.
Skills and Experience
1. Provides professional and exceptional customer/donor service. Greets customers as
they
enter/exit the location in a friendly, positive manner. Responds positively to all customer
inquiries, directing inquiries to management when needed.
2. Finalizes customer check out process by scanning all barcodes, receiving guidance
from management if an item is not tagged.
3. Organizes, maintains, and places donated goods on the sales floor as needed,
insuring
each item is placed in its appropriate location on the sales floor.
