Ōnin Staffing is hiring MIG Welders for a full-time opportunity with a growing manufacturing operation. If you can read mechanical drawings, confidently set up and operate MIG welding equipment, and take pride in producing clean, quality welds, this is an opportunity to put your skills to work with a team that values craftsmanship and reliability.

What You'll Do as a MIG Welder:
- Lay clean, structural MIG (GMAW) welds on mild steel assemblies and production components.
- Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and standard welding symbols.
- Set wire feed speed, voltage, and gas flow rates for optimal penetration and appearance.
- Clean and prep joints and finish welds using hand grinders and scaling tools.
- Use basic computer functions for departmental tasks
- Inspect your own welds using fillet/weld gauges to ensure customer and quality standards.
- Work safely and in accordance with applicable industry standards and internal procedures
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 1–3+ years of MIG welding in a manufacturing, fabrication, or shop environment (or recent technical school/welding certification).
- Ability to pass a 3G MIG Welding test
- Proficient in reading blueprints/weld symbols and using grinders, tape measures, and hand tools.
- Experience operating and adjusting MIG welding equipment, along with basic welding tools such as grinders and weld gauges
- Basic ability to visually inspect your own welds for quality and accuracy
- Dependable, safety-minded, and self-motivated, with the ability to work independently and meet production schedules
