NOW HIRING: LAND SURVEYOR HELPER
Location: El Paso, Texas
Pay: $16.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Ōnin Staffing is seeking a dependable Land Surveyor Helper to assist a professional surveying crew with daily field operations. This is a hands-on outdoor position for someone who enjoys staying active and is interested in learning the land-surveying trade.
Responsibilities:
• Assist the survey crew with daily field assignments
• Carry, set up, and properly store surveying equipment
• Hold survey rods, prisms, and measuring equipment
• Place stakes, markers, flags, and survey points
• Help collect accurate field measurements and project information
• Clear minor obstructions to establish survey lines
• Maintain tools, equipment, and work vehicles
• Follow all jobsite and company safety procedures
Qualifications:
• Dependable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
• Comfortable working outdoors in heat, wind, dust, and changing weather
• Ability to walk over rough or uneven terrain
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
• Basic math and measuring skills
• Previous construction, outdoor labor, or surveying experience is helpful but not required
• Valid driver’s license may be required
