Onin Staffing | Seasonal Opportunity with Full-Time Potential
Onin Staffing is looking for a Seasonal Onsite Staffing Support Specialist to support one of our peak-production Light Industrial clients. This is a fast-paced opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, staying organized, and being the connection point between employees, the client, and the staffing team.
This position will be administration-heavy, with a strong focus on communication, employee support, staffing coordination, and maintaining accurate information. The right person will also have the flexibility to visit physical client sites as needed.
What You'll Do
- Provide day-to-day onsite staffing support for a high-volume, peak-production client
- Serve as one of the points of contact for Onin teammates and client contacts
- Communicate effectively through email, text, phone, and in-person interactions
- Assist with employee check-ins, attendance, call-offs, scheduling, and general employee questions
- Maintain accurate records, staffing documentation, and administrative reports
- Help coordinate employee starts, orientations, assignments, and other onboarding activities
- Partner with recruiters and branch leadership to help maintain staffing levels
- Visit client locations as needed to provide hands-on support
- Help identify and resolve employee or client concerns quickly and professionally
- Support weekend operations during peak production periods
- Maintain a professional, positive presence with both our employees and client partners
Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience in staffing, recruiting, HR, operations, customer service, or a similar administrative role preferred
- Strong organizational and administrative skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Comfortable communicating with a diverse workforce
- Ability to work independently while remaining highly responsive to the team
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Comfortable using email, texting, spreadsheets, and other technology
- Ability to work weekends when business needs require
- Reliable transportation and the ability to travel between client locations when needed
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are highly desired
- A positive, solutions-oriented attitude
