Overview
A warehouse in Durham, NC is looking for a Sanitazion worker to join their team.
Duties may include, and are not limited to, the following:
- Sweeping, wet and dry mopping and vacuuming
- Dusting furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
- Servicing, cleaning and supplying restrooms
- Cleaning windows, glass partitions, and mirrors
- Gathering and emptying trash into dumpster for removal
- Cleaning and polishing furniture and fixtures
- Operating basic mechanical cleaning equipment
- Follow applicable procedures and work instructions; always be aware of safety and immediately report any unsafe working conditions to the supervisor or department manager
- Keep work area clean and orderly, maintain all property, equipment, tools and products in good condition
- Participate in DECI-sponsored training as assigned
- Other duties as assigned
Schedule: Monday - Friday 8:15-4:15pm
Skills and Experience
- No education or experience required as comprehensive training will occur. Some housekeeping, cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Ability to carry, move or lift at least thirty-five pounds; bend; climb; crouch; kneel; stoop and walk.
- Reliable transportation
