Overview
We are seeking a reliable Production Associate I to join our food manufacturing team. This role is responsible for supporting daily production, packaging, quality control, and material handling in a safe, fast-paced environment while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and food safety standards.
Skills and Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Production & Packaging: Perform line duties (trayer, molder, counter, packer) and operate machinery like scales, box erectors, and tapers.
- Safety & Compliance: Follow all food safety guidelines, GMPs, and plant safety standards; report hazards immediately.
- Quality Control: Inspect, label, package, and palletize products according to specification; perform basic rework when needed.
- Material Handling: Safely move products and materials using manual and electric pallet jacks.
- Documentation: Complete basic digital logs and production records accurately.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Food manufacturing, warehouse, or packaging experience preferred, but entry-level applicants are welcome to apply.
- Skills: Basic tablet/computer entry, strong attention to detail, and good team communication.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand/walk for full shifts, work in hot/cold plant environments, and wear required PPE.
- Flexibility: Willingness to cross-train and work overtime, weekends, or varied shifts as needed.
