Job Description
Ōnin Staffing is hiring a Powder Coater / Forklift Operator to join a local manufacturing team. This is a primarily manual labor position and is a great opportunity for someone who is dependable, hardworking, comfortable working in a physically demanding environment, and willing to learn.
Forklift experience is preferred, but training is available for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
- Perform general manual labor and production duties
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials and products
- Operate a forklift and other material-handling equipment after training/qualification
- Powder coat materials and products
- Assist with preparing materials and products for production
- Follow safety procedures and workplace guidelines
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Inspect materials and finished products for quality
- Work efficiently as part of a team while also completing tasks independently
- Perform other general labor duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable standing, walking, bending, reaching, and performing physical labor throughout the shift
- Comfortable working in heat and outdoor/industrial temperatures
- Forklift experience is required
- Reliable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment
