Overview
Rebar Laborers will perform physically demanding work throughout the shift and should be comfortable working with heavy steel materials. Daily responsibilities may include lifting and carrying rebar, stacking and staging materials, loading and unloading trucks, separating materials by size or order, and assisting with preparing rebar for production or shipment.
Skills and Experience
- Previous rebar, construction, steel fabrication, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to safely lift, carry, move, and organize heavy steel materials
- Experience loading, unloading, stacking, staging, or bundling materials is a plus
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and industrial equipment
- Ability to perform repetitive lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and standing throughout the shift
- Strong attention to safety and PPE requirements
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial or outdoor environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Ability to maintain an organized and hazard-free work area
- Willingness to learn rebar handling, tying, cutting, or fabrication processes as needed
