We’re looking for a dependable, hardworking Delivery Helper / Warehouse Associate to join a busy furniture team in DeRidder!
This is a hands-on position where you’ll ride alongside a delivery driver to deliver furniture to customers’ homes, assist with loading and unloading, assemble furniture, and help with general warehouse duties. If you enjoy physical work, working with a team, and having a day that keeps you moving, this could be a great opportunity for you.
What You’ll Do
- Ride with the delivery driver to and from customers’ homes
- Assist with loading and unloading furniture for deliveries
- Safely carry and place furniture inside customers’ homes
- Provide professional and courteous service while assisting with deliveries
- Assemble furniture and prepare items for delivery
- Move, organize, and stage furniture throughout the warehouse
- Use floor jacks and other material-handling equipment as needed
- Help receive and organize incoming inventory
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse
- Assist with other general warehouse duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For
- Previous warehouse, delivery, moving, furniture, or general labor experience preferred
- Comfortable with frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling of furniture
- Able to lift at least 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
- Comfortable riding in a delivery truck and traveling to customers’ homes throughout the workday
- Dependable with reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
- Professional and respectful when working inside customers’ homes
- Able to follow instructions and work well as part of a team
- Furniture assembly or basic hand-tool experience is a plus
- Must meet all pre-employment screening requirements
