The ideal candidate will have strong customer service and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced banking environment.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
Additional Requirement: Availability to work some Saturdays
What You’ll Do
- Provide professional, friendly, and knowledgeable service to customers.
- Address customer questions, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain knowledge of current banking products and services and recommend appropriate solutions to customers.
- Open and maintain customer accounts.
- Accurately maintain and balance a cash drawer.
- Assist customers with account balances, loan payoffs, and new account openings.
- Review and understand basic credit report information.
- Process loan applications accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of customer and financial information.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable banking regulations.
- Provide a positive customer experience with every interaction.
Skills and Experience
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Minimum 1 year of bank teller experience.
- Minimum 2 years of customer service experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong basic math and cash-handling skills.
- Basic understanding of credit reports.
- Working knowledge of applicable federal banking laws and regulations.
- Basic computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new applications and software.
- Professional appearance and a customer-first attitude.
