What You’ll Do as a TIG Welder/ Fabricator:

TIG weld stainless steel, aluminum, and other metals, including thin-gauge materials
Fabricate and assemble sheet metal components and custom parts
Set up and adjust TIG welding equipment for different projects
Read blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and work instructions
Measure parts and check finished welds for quality and accuracy
Identify and correct issues with fit, alignment, or weld quality
Work on a variety of custom and short-run projects with changing priorities
Keep your work area clean, organized, and safe
Work closely with teammates to meet quality and production goals
Follow all safety procedures and properly use required PPE
Requires ability to pass a TIG Welding test

Skills and Experience

What You’ll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:

2+ years of TIG welding experience with aluminum, stainless steel, and thin-gauge sheet metal; welding/fabrication experience and TIG certification preferred
Ability to set up and adjust TIG equipment and successfully pass a welding test
Ability to read blueprints, drawings, gauges, and weld symbols; use measuring tools and inspect welds
Strong attention to detail and quality
Strong troubleshooting and adaptability
Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow safety procedures
Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and crouch for extended periods and lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs.
High school diploma or equivalent
