Position Summary
We are seeking a highly dependable and people-focused Seasonal On-Site Staffing Coordinator to provide overnight support for a high-volume client operation. This role serves as the primary point of contact for our temporary workforce during the shift while also acting as a trusted partner to client leadership.
The ideal candidate is approachable, organized, confident handling employee concerns, and exceptional at building relationships. This person should be comfortable making decisions independently, addressing performance and attendance concerns in real time, and proactively identifying and resolving issues before they impact the operation.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Support & Workforce Management
- Serve as the primary on-site contact for temporary employees throughout the shift.
- Issue employee badges and assist with onboarding and first-day needs.
- Review and complete timecard corrections and resolve basic timekeeping discrepancies.
- Monitor attendance, punctuality, performance, and workplace conduct.
- Coach and counsel employees regarding performance, attitude, attendance, and workplace expectations.
- Document employee conversations and escalate concerns when appropriate.
- Communicate staffing needs, call-offs, employee concerns, and other workforce changes to the appropriate team members.
Employee Engagement & Recognition
- Develop, launch, and manage employee recognition and engagement initiatives.
- Identify opportunities to recognize strong attendance, performance, teamwork, and positive behaviors.
- Help create an environment where employees feel supported, informed, and appreciated.
- Build strong relationships with the workforce while maintaining professional expectations and accountability.
Client Partnership
- Build and maintain an exceptional working relationship with client supervisors and leadership.
- Establish credibility and trust by being responsive, dependable, and solution-oriented.
- Maintain regular communication with client contacts regarding workforce performance, attendance, and operational needs.
- Proactively identify potential concerns and work to resolve issues before they escalate.
- Respond professionally to client concerns and assist in developing effective solutions.
- Represent Ōnin professionally and serve as a strong extension of the client partnership.
Skills and Experience
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
Excellent communication and conflict-resolution abilities.
Comfortable coaching employees and having difficult or corrective conversations when necessary.
Ability to remain professional and composed in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize and independently manage multiple responsibilities throughout the shift.
Basic computer skills and comfort learning timekeeping and workforce-management systems.
Previous staffing, HR, recruiting, supervisory, customer service, or employee-relations experience is preferred.
Must be dependable and able to consistently work the overnight schedule.
