Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated Maintenance Helper to join our team. This is an entry-level position, perfect for someone with basic knowledge of tools who is eager to learn and grow within the maintenance field. You will assist experienced technicians with day-to-day maintenance tasks and help ensure equipment, tools, and facilities remain in good working condition.
Responsibilities:
- Assist maintenance technicians with repairs, installations, and preventative maintenance.
- Use hand tools and basic power tools safely and effectively.
- Perform general labor duties such as cleaning work areas, organizing tools, and moving equipment.
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times.
- Report equipment or facility issues to senior staff promptly.
- Learn and apply new skills to support the maintenance team.
Skills and Experience
Requirements:
- No prior maintenance experience required – training provided.
- Basic knowledge of tools and willingness to learn more.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented.
