Overview

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Flux Core Welder to join our team. The welder will be responsible for fabricating, assembling, and repairing metal structures and components using flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) techniques. The ideal candidate should be experienced in reading blueprints, following welding procedures, and ensuring quality and safety standards are consistently met. 

Skills and Experience


Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) on structural steel, plate, and other metal components.

  • Interpret and work from blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.

  • Measure, cut, and fit materials according to specifications.

  • Inspect completed welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with company and industry standards.

  • Set up and maintain welding equipment, ensuring proper operation and safety.

  • Follow all safety protocols, including the use of protective equipment and adherence to OSHA standards.

  • Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.

  • Perform grinding, fitting, or finishing work as needed to complete assemblies.

  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Flux Core Welder or similar welding role.

  • Proficiency in flux-cored arc welding (FCAW) processes.

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols.

  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

  • Knowledge of safety practices and ability to follow safety regulations.

  • Physical stamina to work in various positions and environments.

  • High school diploma or equivalent; welding certification is a plus.
