We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Bilingual Quality Inspector to join our automotive manufacturing quality team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing end-to-end quality control inspections on complex electrical wiring harnesses.

What You’ll Do as a Bilingual Quality Inspector:
- Conduct line, incoming, in-process, and final inspections on electrical wiring harnesses.
- Inspect crimps, solder joints, pin retention, terminal insertion, heat shrink tubing, wire routing, and sleeve positioning using magnifiers, microscopes, and optical measurement devices.
- Identify, segregate, and document defects such as damaged pins, incorrect wire routing, insulation tears, or terminal issues.
- Verify wire colors, gauges, strip lengths, and terminal orientation against engineering blueprints, schematics, and Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Initiate containment actions immediately when a defect is found to prevent faulty parts from reaching the production line.
- Analyze failures and troubleshoot technical issues on the plant floor, using electrical schematics and digital testing tools.
- Author detailed quality reports tracking daily defect rates, root cause analyses, and containment tracking metrics.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between plant management and the manufacturing plant to resolve quality disputes.
Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED required; technical certifications or an Associate degree in electronics is highly preferred.
- Strong bilingual communication (English/Spanish) is a major asset due to international supplier coordination.
- Minimum of 1–2 years in automotive quality inspection, specifically working with electrical systems or wire harnesses.
- Proficient in reading complex electrical schematics, blueprint blueprints, and using engineering specifications.
- Ability to stand for long periods, possess excellent color vision to identify wire patterns, and lift up to 35 lbs.
