Overview
We are seeking an IT Field Support Technician to provide technical assistance to customers both remotely and on-site. This position will handle incoming support calls, troubleshoot technical issues, and travel to customer locations as needed for service, installation, and equipment support.
Skills and Experience
- Answer and respond to customer technical support calls
- Troubleshoot computer, network, internet, and phone system issues
- Provide remote technical support and walk customers through solutions
- Travel to customer locations for on-site service calls when necessary
- Install, configure, and troubleshoot computers, phones, routers, switches, and other IT equipment
- Assist with VoIP and hosted phone system issues
- Troubleshoot connectivity, Wi-Fi, and basic network problems
- Perform basic hardware and software installation and maintenance
- Document service calls and work performed
- Escalate complex technical issues when necessary
- Communicate clearly and professionally with customers
- Maintain a high level of customer service
- Travel throughout the San Antonio and New Braunfels area as needed
