About this opportunity
We are hiring an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation in Salisbury, NC. This position is designed for a hands-on, multi-craft technician who enjoys troubleshooting complex production equipment and solving equipment problems at the source.
The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience and can troubleshoot across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automated systems.
* This is not a facilities or building maintenance position. We are looking for technicians experienced with industrial production machinery.

What You'll Do as an Industrial Maintenance Technician:
You will troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and improve industrial production equipment with a focus on maximizing uptime and preventing recurring failures.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical and electrical failures in real time
- Diagnose issues across hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment
- Support equipment rebuilds, installations, and line improvements
- Work on hydraulic press systems, automated lines, and material handling equipment
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
- Complete maintenance work orders and document repairs using CMMS systems
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements
- Partner with production teams to reduce downtime and improve equipment reliability
Skills and Experience
What You'll Bring as a Preferred Candidate:
- 2–5+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment (required)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (ability to diagnose, not just replace)
- Working knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems (press experience preferred)
- Basic to intermediate electrical troubleshooting (motors, sensors, relays, controls)
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and work instructions
- Experience working in a fast-paced, production-driven environment
Highly Preferred:
- Electrical troubleshooting at an SME level
- Experience with PLC/controls/automation systems
- Hydraulics-heavy or press environment experience
- Boiler or steam system experience
- Exposure to robotics or automated manufacturing
