Overview
The Warehouse Inspector (Revisador) is responsible for inspecting and verifying merchandise to ensure accuracy, quality, and compliance with customer and company requirements. This position works closely with warehouse personnel to inspect inbound and outbound shipments, verify product information, and maintain accurate documentation in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Skills and Experience
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Inspect inbound and outbound merchandise for accuracy and quality.
- Verify product details including brand, model, serial number, quantity, and country of origin.
- Review packing lists, shipping documents, and loading orders.
- Ensure all shipments comply with customer specifications and company procedures.
- Operate scanners and enter information into warehouse management systems.
- Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed.
- Maintain organized and accurate documentation of inspections performed.
- Follow all warehouse safety policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse, shipping, and receiving teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
Qualifications
- Ability to read and interpret packing lists and shipping documentation.
- Basic computer skills and data entry experience.
- Experience using RF scanners.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure.
