Overview

 The Formulator is responsible for accurately preparing, mixing, and testing raw materials according to established formulas, recipes, and production specifications. This position requires strong attention to detail, adherence to safety and quality standards, and the ability to maintain accurate production records while working in a manufacturing environment. 

Skills and Experience

-Measure, weigh, and mix raw materials according to production formulas and batch instructions.
 -Verify ingredients and quantities before beginning each batch. 
 Operate mixing, blending, and formulation equipment safely and efficiently. 
 -Monitor mixing times, temperatures, and production processes to ensure product consistency. 
- Perform quality checks and report any deviations from specifications. 
 -Maintain accurate batch records, production logs, and inventory documentation. 
 -Clean and sanitize mixing equipment and work areas between batches. 
- Assist with inventory control by monitoring raw material usage and reporting shortages. 
- Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), safety procedures, and company policies. 
- Work closely with Quality Assurance and Production teams to ensure products meet specifications. 
- Troubleshoot minor equipment or formulation issues and notify supervisors of larger concerns. 
- Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
