What You'll Do as a Forklift Operator
- Safely operate forklifts in a warehouse environment
- Move, load, and unload materials using powered industrial equipment
- Operate equipment such as sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, pacers, or deep reach trucks, depending on the department
- Follow all safety procedures while performing daily job duties
- Work overtime as needed based on business demands
- Successfully complete a hands-on forklift driving assessment during the interview process
Skills and Experience
Preferred Candidate Might Have:
- Previous forklift operating experience
- Experience operating sit-down forklifts, reach trucks, pacers, or deep reach trucks
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience
- Strong commitment to safety and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
- Ability to successfully complete a hands-on forklift driving assessment
