We're looking for an experienced Procurement & Supply Chain Manager to lead purchasing operations for a growing manufacturing organization. This is an opportunity for someone who enjoys building supplier relationships, improving processes, managing inventory strategy, and leading procurement initiatives that directly impact operational success.

What You'll Do
- Lead all procurement and purchasing activities to ensure materials are available to support manufacturing and customer demand.
- Develop sourcing strategies that improve cost, quality, and supplier performance.
- Manage inventory purchasing by analyzing demand, usage trends, and forecasts.
- Negotiate vendor contracts, pricing, and supplier agreements.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments.
- Review and approve purchase orders and procurement documentation.
- Monitor supplier performance, lead times, and open purchase orders.
- Analyze purchasing costs, inventory trends, and procurement data to improve efficiency.
- Partner with Operations, Production, Accounting, Customer Service, Warehouse, and Leadership teams.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and ISO standards.
- Lead, coach, and support procurement and supply chain team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives throughout the purchasing process.
Skills and Experience
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or inventory management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems
- Strong vendor negotiation and supplier management experience
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong communication and leadership skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous leadership or supervisory experience
- Experience with SyteLine ERP
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 standards
- Manufacturing, industrial equipment, pump products, or distribution experience
- Inventory forecasting and material planning experience
- Continuous improvement and process optimization experience
